Correct Positioning of Layered Assemblies

I want to share a support request.

Question
When I select a wall, a light blue arrow appears on one side: what is it used for?

Answer
The light blue arrow indicates the exterior side of the building envelope and is used to correctly position the layered assembly (stratigraphy).
This feature is especially useful when creating a detailed floor plan in which the layered composition of building envelopes needs to be represented.

The arrow can be repositioned for an individual envelope in two ways:

Method 1
- Select the envelope.
- Click the arrow with the left mouse button to move it to the opposite side.

Method 2
- Select the envelope.
- In the Properties toolbox on the right, enable or disable the Invert wall face option.

If the envelopes define a closed space, an automatic feature is available that detects the exterior and allows you to correctly reposition the exterior face of all envelopes.

Procedure:
- Select an envelope.
- On the ribbon bar, click the Define External button.
