Answer: To create a custom material layer proceed as follows: 1. open either the "USER or PROJECT BIM object library"; 2. from the menu choose "MATERIAL LAYER ELEMENTS"; 3.select the "HOMOGENEOUS elements" folder; 4. Right click "append"> "Folder" 5. type the name of the folder; 6. select the folder; 7. Right click "append"> "Item". Within the editor, you can customize the individual material by choosing from the properties toolbox a pattern, an image and assigning some thermal properties. Tony | Tony 2023-09-18 14:03:51 Dear sir, your specific question refers to a different topic but here's a refernce to a possible workflow to solve the need of creatingyour own 3D Objects and using them in your MEP modelling process. Here's direct access to our Edificius-MEP Training platform here: bimsoftwaretraining.accasoftware.com/en/courses/complete-training-course-of-edificius-mep/ In relation to the possibility to add and customize your own MEP 3D models ready for use in the Software, please also refer to this Video Link. It provides a fully detailed explanation of how to add your own Objects and use then in your MEP design workflow. Regards |
