| Roof Closure with ACCA Intelligencemorisdidonato 2026-06-22 10:13:31 During roof modelling, it may happen that when closing the editor, the software reports some errors caused by small inaccuracies made during the drawing process. Starting from the usBIM(s) version of Edificius, a new feature based on the Artificial Intelligence of ACCA Intelligence has been introduced, specifically designed to automatically detect and correct these modelling inaccuracies. Thanks to ACCA Intelligence, the software is capable of analysing roof geometry in real time, helping AEC professionals achieve cleaner, more accurate BIM models while significantly reducing manual correction time. This intelligent workflow enhances productivity and ensures greater modelling reliability, even in complex roof configurations. What are the most common errors encountered during Roof modelling? The most common issues are caused by misaligned vertices, overlapping roof pitches, or edges that are not properly covered. These problems can always be corrected manually by following the dedicated guides below: Roof: edge not properly covered Roof: overlapping slopes in error Roof: the slopes' vertices have the wrong position When does the Artificial Intelligence activate and how does it work? When the program detects anomalies related to the elevation of roof pitch vertices, the following message appears: “One or more vertices of one or more roof pitches have incorrect elevations”, and two options are provided: 
If the user selects Cancel, a second message appears asking whether they would like to use the AI powered by ACCA Intelligence to automatically complete the roof modelling process. At this point, the software automatically analyses the roof geometry and proposes an intelligent and immediate correction.  Automatic correction with AI If the user confirms by clicking the green check mark, the artificial intelligence analyses the model, identifies geometric inconsistencies, and applies the required corrections quickly and accurately. This feature drastically reduces revision time and allows users to obtain a consistent BIM model even when small drawing inaccuracies are present.
