Answer The Entity Filter is used to isolate elements from a multiple selection. By selecting the entire model, it is possible to filter only certain categories.
How to proceed:
Perform a multiple selection (from Level or 3D View).
In the properties toolbox on the right, click on the funnel "Advanced Filter...".
Select one or more categories from the list to keep them active.
Example: I want to connect the envelopes to the roof in a single operation; how should I proceed: Option 1
Open the Level where the envelopes to be connected to the roof are located:
Perform a multiple selection of everything;
Filter the envelopes using the Advanced Filter… command;
Assign the roof subLevel.
Option 2
Open the 3D View;
From the Visibility menu, hide the lower levels;
Perform a multiple selection of everything;
Filter the envelopes using the Advanced Filter… command;
Assign the roof subLevel.
Difference with Selection Filter The Selection Filter, on the other hand, is an advanced tool that allows you to filter entities by defining multiple grouping conditions by category quickly and effectively.
