Deleting the IFC

• New from IFC: this mode allows you to create a new document starting from an IFC file. In this way, the level management set in the software that generated the IFC is recognized, as well as the main entities (Envelope, Horizontal Envelope, Roof, Door, and Window), which can be edited as native Edificius objects.
  The other entities not mentioned will instead be converted into IFC proxy objects and will not be editable.
• IFC Object: this command, available in the Architectural menu, allows you to import the IFC model as a single block and place it—also at a later stage—directly into the model you are working on.

• If the file was imported using the New from IFC mode, it will not be possible to delete it, but it can be hidden using the options in the Visibility menu.
• If, instead, it was imported as an IFC Object, it can be deleted by selecting it and pressing the Delete key on the keyboard.
