I want to share a support request.

Question
When trying to open the file, the following message appears:
"Data version not compatible. This data cannot be used."

Answer
This message may appear in two cases:

  1. The file was created with a newer version of Edificius than the one being used to open it.
    In this case, simply update Edificius to the latest available version in order to open the file.
  2. The file was created with an EDUCATIONAL version and you are trying to open it with a commercial version.
    In this case, it will not be possible to open the file, since files created with the EDUCATIONAL version can only be opened with the same version.
