Drawing Models: Exporting as a DXF/DWG

I want to share a support request

Question:
When exporting the Drawing Models to DXF/DWG, I don’t see the hatches and fills. What should I do?

Answer:
In Edificius, it is possible to choose between 3 different DXF/DWG export types.
The choices must be made for each individual drawing model.

How to proceed:

  1. Open the relevant Drawing Model (Area Plans, Floor Plans, Sections, Elevations, and Axonometric Views);
  2. From the Properties toolbox, select Type under the node DXF, DWG Exports...;
  3. Choose between the 3 proposed types:
    • Lines only: hatches and fills are not exported;
    • Lines and Fills: all hatches and fills are exported, including those of entities in elevation (e.g., roof tile hatch);
    • Lines and Sectioned Fills: all hatches and fills of sectioned entities are exported (e.g., building envelope hatch)

  4. To perform the export, click HOME, select "Exports," and then DXF,DWG Format...

Note: When exporting the DXF/DWG of the Working Drawings, the export types chosen for the individual Drawing Models will be applied.
