Request
On the roof I have some dormers. Do I have a specific object to model them?

Answer
To insert a dormer you can use the specific object "Dormer".

How to proceed:
- while in the "3D View" (or on the level), from the object menu select "Dormer";
- left-click on the roof pitch where you want to insert the dormer;
- in the editor, the selected roof pitch is shown in plan (on the left) and in 3D (on the right and highlighted in pink);
- from the object menu, open the submenu and select the type of dormer to model;
- on the roof pitch plan view, locate the point where you want to start inserting the dormer (*) and left-click;
- moving towards the eaves, locate the second point and left-click again.

The dormer defined this way is displayed in plan and in 3D.

To finish inserting the dormer, click the Finish command on the toolbar.

By repeating the above procedure, you can insert all the other dormers present on the roof.

WARNING
If you need to insert 2 or more dormers on the same roof pitch, you must repeat the operation as many times as the dormers to be inserted. In fact, with each insertion you can only define one dormer with its related properties.

Watch the tutorial video >>> Insert a Dormer

(*) the dormer drawing has a direction/orientation. It always starts from the ridge of the roof and moves towards the eaves. Therefore, the first point of the dormer must be set at the upper part of the roof pitch, i.e. towards the ridge.
