Request
How can I extract/copy an object that I inserted in another file?

Answer
In Edificius, it is possible to extract or copy objects from other files in several ways.

1st method:
- Open the file containing the object to be extracted, e.g., a 3D block;
- Publish it on usBIM.library(USER) or another custom library;
- Go to the file you are currently working on;
- Extract the object from usBIM.library(USER).
With this first solution, the object is published on the cloud, so it can be retrieved later on any computer simply by logging in and accessing the library.

2nd method:
- Open the file containing the entity to be extracted, e.g., a 3D block;
- Select the object or group of objects;
- Copy using the keyboard shortcut CTRL+C;
- Go to the file you are working on;
- Paste using the keyboard shortcut CTRL+V.

3rd method:
- Click on the Properties (default) button in the file you are working on;
- Without deactivating the command, switch to the file containing the object to be copied;
- Click the left mouse button on the object to copy;
- The program automatically activates the source file with the object attached to the mouse cursor, allowing you to place it.

4th method:
- Select the category of the object to insert, e.g., Envelope;
- From the Properties toolbox, use the three dots to access the library;
- Select the Project library at the top;
- Choose the object from the file opened on screen;
- Insert the selected object into the model.
