Request Can I integrate Edificius with a 3D modeler?
Answer From Edificius it is possible to start direct integration with the SketchUp, Blender, and Rhino/Grasshopper modelers; these modelers, which must be installed on the PC, allow you to make modifications to the entities drawn in Edificius. To start the integration, proceed as described below:
Open the 3D View;
Select the entity to modify;
Click on the solid modeling button located on the 3D View toolbar;
Choose the modeler to use.
If the selected object is a 3D Block, when starting the integration, you can choose whether to get a new object or modify the selected one:
If the selected object is not a 3D Block, when starting the integration, it will be possible to create a new 3D Block:
If, after installing the modeler on the PC, it is not possible to start the integration, you need to check whether the indicated path is correct, proceeding as described below:
From the Edificius 3D model, start the integration with the installed modeler;
In the first dialog that appears, click configure...;
In the next dialog, click browse... and select the EXE file of the modeler, for example SketchUp.
Click Continue...;
Back in the first dialog, click Continue... again to start the integration.
