I inserted sections on a Point Cloud in Edificius; how can I customize them?

Answer
Once the sections are inserted, it is possible to customize them by modifying the characteristics of the points that compose them and the properties of the section itself.

How to proceed
- Select a previously inserted section;
- On the toolbar, it is possible to modify the size and color of the points;


- By activating the front view of the section and clicking on the green cone visible in the 3D view at the section, it is possible to modify the transparency and sharpness filters.


- From the properties toolbox, it is possible to:
  • Modify the Title;
  • Change the Color;
  • Activate/deactivate the Preview of the section, thus controlling its visibility in 3D;
  • Modify the Thickness of the Section in the cut direction;
  • Move the section;
  • Activate/deactivate the Preview and Thickness of the Background; in this case, in the front view and levels, the points above and below the section will be displayed to provide more detail when drawing architectural entities.


The Background thickness in the front view and levels can be customized using the dedicated buttons + and -.

Finally, if the point cloud is highly detailed, it is possible to download all the points of the section to view it in high quality by clicking the dedicated button on the ribbon.
