Material Layers - Maximum number of definable layers

Question In defining the material layer, to be assigned to the horizontal and vertical envelopes, is there an upper limit for the number of layers or materials that compose the element?
Answer Yes. The EnergyPlus solver manages layers made up of a maximum of ten layers/materials. Assigning Material Layer compositions consisting of a greater number of layers will cause the calculation process to abort.
