How to change the 'signature' in the header of the print document

Here's another technical support request that I'd like to share with our PriMus users

Request
How is it possible to change the technician name in the BoQ header with the company name?

Answer
You need to customise the header by using the functions in the PROGRAM Options window.

You can directly customise the original header (PROCEDURE_A), or its duplicate (PROCEDURE_B), which you can then select in the document's print settings.

HOW TO PROCEED --> PROCEDURE_A.
STEP - #1
1) Open PROGRAM Options from the Tools menu;
2) click on the Headers page;
3) select the header (example: Bill of Quantities) from the list;
4) Click the Edit button;
5) select the text to edit (example: THE QUANTITY SURVEYOR);
6) Click the Text button;
7) delete the original text and write a new one (for example: delete THE ARCHITECT and write THE COMPANY);

STEP - #2.
8) select the variable (for example: $N0501$) placed immediately after the modified text;
9) replace the selected variable (associated to the name of THE TECHNICIAN) with the one associated to the name of THE COMPANY;
10) Click the OK button to close and save the header modification;
11) Click the OK button to close the PROGRAM Options window.

STEP - #3.
12) print the Bill of Quantities
--> see figure #3

If you want to keep the original PAGE HEADER, before customizing it, proceed as follows --> PROCEDURE_B:
STEP - #1
1) Open PROGRAM Options from the Tools menu;
2) click on the Headers page;
3) select the header (example: Bill of Quantities) from the list;
4) Click the Edit button;
5) open the menu;
6) select the Save to File option;
7) specify the name (for example: Company_Cost_Estimate), path and folder where to save the file;
9) click the Cancel button to close the header editor without saving any changes;

STEP - #2.
10) Click on User Pages;
11) click on the grid to move the cursor to the first row;
12) type the header name (for example: Cost Estimate - Company);
13) Click the Edit button;
14) open the menu;
15) select the Upload from file option;
16) choose the previously saved file (for example: Cost_Estimate_Company.ppe);

STEP - #3.
17) continue with the customization as described from point 5 to point 11 of PROCEDURE_A.

STEP - #4.
18) print the bill of quantities
--> see figure #4
