I would like to share this support request:

What do the single capital letters beside the items of the rate analysis mean?

Answer
Those letters (F, S, C) allows to identify the inserted item typology
--> please refers to the attached image

1) the (F) code identify the elementary costs
An elementary cost is an item from the price list (resource) acquired from the price list editor from the same or a different document, inserted on the Rate analysis editor.
In the description field of an elementary cost, the E code identify the typology and it is followed by tariff code and description. An elementary cost can vary both in price and quantity.

2) The (S) code, identify those element considered freely inserted
A freely inserted element is an entity not defined in the price list. In the description field will be automatically inserted the S letter, which identify the free typology and a specify text. A freely inserted element (with no quantity and price) can be also used for inserting titles or notes. In this typology of insertion it is always possible to edit price and quantity.

3) The (C) code, identify the Analysed item
An analysed item is an element of the price list resulted from a previously made analysis.
for this item typology only the quantity can be edited (and not the price).
this ID codes are automatically assigned by the software and cannot be edited or removed.

to the elementary costs is it possible to assign a resource typologyvisible on the last columnR. of the Analysis editor.
--> see figure
resource typology:
- Labour --> LAB
- Material --> MAT
- Hire --> HIR
- Transport --> TR
Moreover, the analysed items used as an item for the analysis will be marked with the--> AN code (visible on the 'R.' column).
