Request Why is it that when I import a PDF file I get the message: 'The file does not contain valid information for the generation of a PriMus document'?
Answer First thing to understand is with which version of PriMus the '.PDF ' document was created?
Important!!! - the data contained in '.PDF' documents can be re-imported into a '.DCF' document only if the following conditions are satisfied:
1) that the software version used to generate/export the .PDF file is PriMus v.POWER (or later versions) ; 2) that the version used to import the data contained in the .PDF is PriMus v.POWER (or later versions); 3) that the PDF file obtained with PriMus v.POWER (or later versions) will NOT subsequently be backed up in PDF with other software (for example: Adobe Acrobat, PDF Creator, etc.). 4) that the PDF file obtained with PriMus v.POWER (or later versions) will NOT be generated by printing with a 'virtual print driver' such as (PDF Creator, etc.).
