Here's a new Technical support issue that I wanted to share

QUESTION
Is it possible to assign Works Sections with a Category structure while preparing a BoQ with PriMus for iPad?

ANSWER
You can assign your work sections to categories while preparing your estimate only if you have previously created a list of sub-categories, categories and super categories with the desktop version of "PriMus Free UPP" with which PriMus for iPad completes all functionality.

If you need to assign categories, all you need to do is prepare your BoQ/Estimate categories structure in PriMus Free UPP and then synchronize the file through iTunes to your iPad from where you can easily open up such structure.

HERE'S HOW TO PROCEED with PriMus Free UPP (create the list of categories)
1) access the "General DATA" editor with your document open in PriMus Free UPP;
2) access the "Chapters and Categories";
3) select the "Super Categories" page;
4) define your categories list according to the desired structure;
Now following the same steps as specified in 3) and 4), you can also structure the categories and sub categories list.

HOW TO PROCEED with PriMus Free UPP (SAVING THE FILE for iPAD Syncing)
1) now select "save as...";
2) set your path for saving the file and filename;
3) select "mobile DCF document (*.DCFm)" under "File Type";
4) confirm with "OK";
5) Now close your document and PriMus Free UPP.

With the syncing features of iTunes, simply transfer the ".DCFm" file from your PC to the PriMus for iPad application for direct management.
