Reinforced concrete stairs

Here's a nw technical support issue for our users.

Question:
Does The program calculate the reinforcement schedules for stairs? Where can I view them?

Answer:
Yes, the program automatically calculates, for new design elements, stair element reinforcement schedules.
The following table provides reinforcement details for provided by the program.

Ramped slab stairs
The reinforcement schedules for this type of element are shown in the REINFORCEMENTS -> Stairs node under the project NAVIGATOR. Here you can view and even change the reinforcements together with steps detailing and specifications. Activating the "Steps Reinforcement" option in the "other characteristics ..." field, under the Stairs Properties, you can also get a construction detail, Not Calculated, for the reinforcement rebars necessary for each step.

When modifying the reinforcements for a ramped stairs element you simply proceed as you normally would when modifying simple beam members in RC. (Click the link to see a video regarding this feature: video.accasoftware.com/EN/edilus/id342/index.html?idPLV=6163&autoplay=1).
And here's an illustration: Slab reinforcement ramped.

Knee beam stairs
For this type of stairs element, the program provides both the calculation for the reinforced ramp and the landings.

The knee beam reinforcements are shown in the REINFORCEMENTS -> Beams node under the project navigator along with the other beams involved and shown in the same layer where the stairs objects is inserted. Any necessary changes can be performed as normally done when dealing with normal R.C. Beams.

The reinforcements for landings and ramps are calculated with a cantilevered layout and with a knee beam constraint type. These are shown in the REINFORCEMENTS -> Stairs node of the NAVIGATOR.
Here you can see and edit the step reinforcements as well as see a section view of the entire stairs object.
To modify the reinforcements for the landing and/or the ramp, simply select the element and proceed with the necessary changes in its reinforcement properties
