ANSWER This particular condition arises when the elements (ramp or landing) aren't correctly connected to each other. In the Stairs editor, the element that you are drawing (ramp or landing), automatically acquires the height of the element it is connected to For example: - connecting the start point of the ramp to the landing, the start point acquires the same height of the landing it is connected to; - connecting the end point of the ramp to the landing, in this case the landing positions itself at the same height as the last step on the ramp.
