I want to snap to the corners or centre of a Raster Image so that I can draw a frame around it's extents. I don't seem to be able to do this? Is this possible? If not it should be.
Hi, to be honest, it mainly depends on the quality of your Raster image but it would mean tracing over it with pixel range precision. If you need higher precision, the best thing to do would be to "vectorize" it to a CAD format. We don;t provide that kind of tool internally because it's highly dependent on the quality of the image and proportions etc. If you have it as a PDF from a CAD drawing, I would suggest reversing it back to a CAD format (dwg, dxf) so you can import the file directly into Edificius worksapce and use all the snap nodes necessary.
There are a few free vectorizers out there that return a good quality. One of these is Inkscape and it has a good vectorizer to CAD output.
