Rotation, movement and zooming in 3D view

John 2013-11-14 17:57:39

In this discussion, I just wanted to show how easy it is to move, rotate and zoom in and out on the BIM model in 3D View.

Have a look at this video to see how to operate:

Dear sir,
you can move around the building as illustrated in these videos below:
video.accasoftware.com/en/edificius/id161/index.html?idPLV=7261&autoplay=1
video.accasoftware.com/en/edificius/id161/index.html?idPLV=7256&autoplay=1

Also have a look at this video that shows how to add a Perspective View node:

This software is very useful for me in my career of becoming a civil engineering and I don't even know how to show my gratitude to you guys, this is a job well done I am very grateful but I want to lodge some complaints about the instructor, he/she does not show it in a step by step process and a time he uses the keyboard which we doesn't know what he presses and we will like to have a playlist on how to use this software.......Thanks

Dear user,
First of all thank you for your consideration and interest that you have to our software.
Too learn how to use Edificius I recommend you to watch the following video selection from the Video Tutorial:
- Inserting walls, partitions etc. using the “Envelope” object:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id1/index.html?idPLV=197&autoplay=1
- Adding doors and windows:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id1/index.html?idPLV=196&autoplay=1
- Drawing stairs:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id1/index.html?idPLV=195&autoplay=1
- Inserting floors using the “Horizontal envelope”:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id1/index.html?idPLV=194&autoplay=1
- Adding new levels:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id28/index.html?idPLV=311&autoplay=1
- Drawing roofs:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id1/index.html?idPLV=193&autoplay=1
- Modeling terrain:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id1/index.html?idPLV=192&autoplay=1
- Obtaining automatically the structures bill of quantities:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id1/index.html?idPLV=198&autoplay=1
- Importing a dxf/dwg drawing to be used as a trace for the project:
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id3/index.html?idPLV=229&autoplay=1

Furthermore after having realized your structure, you can automatically obtain the Drawing Models (plan views, section views, elevation views etc.), as shown in the following videos:

video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id29/index.html?idPLV=320&autoplay=1
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id29/index.html?idPLV=319&autoplay=1
video.accasoftware.com/EN/edificius/id29/index.html?idPLV=327&autoplay=1

Hoping the above satisfy your request but please feel free to contact us again if you need further help for Edificius.

Regards

Tony

Hi,
can you please explain what you mean exactly because the rotate on screen function is a typical "Orbit" action using the right mouse button action. In alternative, if you need to Rotate an object, you simply select it and using the "Object grip" simply Rotate around an Axis by left clicking on one of the four coloured nodes.

See attached file as an illustration of the Object Grip
