Of course, you can try downloading a predefined model or you can model what you need using the SketchUp integration feature. | BrentPaul 2016-04-17 09:27:43 I don't have time left to learn Sketchup as well right now, haha. I'll definitely search for quality 3D libraries online though; maybe Sketchup's online resource. Can you recommend any libraries? I had a fiddle with the 3D Spherical MagneticGrid tool. When I've used Edificius a while longer, then I'll know how to make more use of that tool for curved designs. | BrentPaul 2016-04-19 07:39:00 Thanks for those videos. I watched them again more closely after your recommendation. Then I had a go importing a couple of 3D models using the 3DWarehouse integration feature of Edificius. However, it gave an error message about newer software versions. I tried Sketchup 2015, 2014, 2013 models through the dialog import box but to no avail. See attached screenshot >> 333033_1461044053_newer_version_of_sketchup_for_model_into_edificius.gif I'm using Edificius v.7.00b so what is happening? |
