Edificius for Interior Design... any thoughts?

BrentPaul 2016-03-28 14:21:00

How suitable is Edificius for Interior Design?

My wife is considering a return to academic studies in the field of Interior Design. The university may use different software from Edificius, not that it matters.

We feel we could combine our skill sets in a niche business consisting of residential architectural design, building construction management and interior design consultancy. Maybe even landscape design.

Is anyone on the forums using Edificius (and Primus etc) for interior design? Can they offer suggestions re same?

You can use Edificius Free UPP for Interior Design since the structure can be designed with the software objects (walls, doors, windows, etc.) the furniture can be inserted as 3D blocks and the renderings can be performed also with the Lightings Point aid.

Edificius also has a educational version, so if the university is interested to use our software, they can get in touch with us.

Ah yes, I've been watching lots of your videos and tutorials in those sectors and it DOES look quite capable for interior design.

Especially with its 3D and Sketchup integration, as well as the impressive rendering!

Cheers.
