QUESTION: I need to model a wall recess under a window. Is there a way of doing this?
ANSWER: To insert a recess in the window's supporting wall, simply follow these steps: - open the 3D view (default). - Select the window/s. - Define the base wall or supporting wall height value under the "Geometry" section in the properties toolbox to the right hand side of the interface. - now click on the small arrow to the left of the "Base wall height" field to open the options box. - now type in the recess value in "Recess".
