Request How can I customize printing on Edificius-CAD?
Response Edificius-CAD does not have a preloaded system printer for exporting to PDF. To create a PDF or customize print sizes, you need to install a "virtual printer" on your PC, such as PDFCreator, which allows you to obtain a PDF file as output. After installing and selecting PDFCreator as your printer, you can choose the paper size from various standard/formatted formats (ISO, ARCH, A0, A1, etc.).
To create a print with custom dimensions, proceed as described below.
A) Printing Custom Sizes from Template: 1. Click on print, choose PDFCreator as the printer, and click on "Properties"; 2. In the "Settings" tab, click on the "Custom Properties" button; 3. By clicking on "Advanced," you can choose the paper format ""Custom page size PostScript""; 4. Define the dimensions, confirm the changes, and assign a name to the .PC3 file containing the assigned print settings.
B) Create a Layout with Custom Sizes: 1. Right-click on the Layout tab to modify; 2. From the dropdown menu, choose "Page Setup Manager"; 3. Select "Add..." or "Edit..."; 4. Follow the steps already described for example A.
